If you're a politician or a tip top businessperson or a trainer specialised in the art of public speaking, you might have heard of Marc Chauve, head and creator of Dramasophie®.
Dramasophie® is a method based on finding a balance between drama and reflection which explores, at the same time, the brain's potential. I'm not sure what that means, but apparently M Chauve has successfully trained 10,000 to speak in public and his students come away happy and confident about doing so. You can read all about his training and experience, which are impressive, on his page.
The ability to speak in public with confidence and charisma is very important if it's something you have to do often. Why am I blogging about this? Well, my TWDB would like to follow the programme down here in sunny Montpellier at the beginning of 2011. M Chauve has said he'll be happy to come down if there are a minimum of 10 students, so as the summer ends and la Rentrée looms for everyone, some are turning their thoughts to getting out of one job and into another. Some wish they could be head-hunted, and others just want to get a grip on a presentation they have to give to hundreds.
If you're interested in following this course (the price is on page 1 of the brochure), let me know and I'll pass on your details.
And of course, there is no glamorous Miss Sophie involved, but sophia (thought/reflection).
In French, natch.
